Working with BEOINOX: Custom Stainless Steel Solutions

25 March 2026 · Hunter Harris

Bespoke processing equipment for UK food and beverage manufacturers.

Most food and beverage processing equipment is designed to be sold in volume. Standard sizes, standard configurations, standard lead times. That works fine when your process fits the standard. But what happens when it doesn't?

That's where BEOINOX comes in — and why Hunter Harris became their exclusive UK agent.

What is BEOINOX?

BEOINOX is a Slovenian manufacturer of custom stainless steel vessels and processing equipment. Founded in the 1990s, they've built a reputation across Europe for quality fabrication and flexibility in design.

Their range covers:

  • Fermentation vessels and brite beer tanks
  • Pressure vessels and storage tanks
  • Blending and mixing vessels
  • Process vessels with heating/cooling jackets
  • Custom fabrications for food, pharmaceutical, and chemical applications

Every BEOINOX vessel is made to order. There are no stock sizes, no catalogue. You specify what you need, and they build it.

The Case for Bespoke

Off-the-shelf vessels are designed around the most common requirements. If your process fits within those parameters — in terms of volume, geometry, pressure, temperature, and surface finish requirements — standard works well.

But food and beverage production is often more demanding:

  • You might need a specific height-to-diameter ratio to achieve the right flow dynamics
  • Your cleaning regime might require a particular surface finish or specific spray ball positions
  • Your site might have height or width constraints that no standard vessel can accommodate
  • Your product might require a jacket specification outside the standard range

BEOINOX can accommodate any of these requirements. Because they work from drawings, not from a catalogue, there are no limits on what can be specified.

Our Process

When a client needs a custom vessel, we work through the specification together:

  1. Process review — understanding what the vessel needs to do
  2. Specification development — translating process requirements into engineering parameters
  3. Drawing review — BEOINOX produces detailed fabrication drawings for client approval
  4. Manufacture — typically 6-14 weeks depending on complexity and queue
  5. Delivery and installation — we handle logistics and install on-site

Having Hunter Harris as the UK agent means the process is managed locally. You deal with us, in English, with UK-standard commercial terms.

Recent Projects

We've supplied BEOINOX vessels to:

  • A craft distillery requiring bespoke spirit receivers with precise volume calibration
  • A soft drink manufacturer needing jacketed mixing vessels for heat-sensitive concentrates
  • A brewery expanding capacity with fermenters designed for their specific pitch-rate requirements

Every project is different. That's the point.
